Medical Bills My Rescue Dog Kelly

Kelly is a seinor German Shepherd dog that was in the pound last year and in horrible condition. People in the dog rescue world all over the US and Candanda begged me to help her and they all donated funds to pay for her initial medical care. Over the last year Kelly has blossomed into a beautiful and happy girl. I was only goig to foster her and with the help of her fans we found her a new home. It didn't work out there and Kelly came back home to me and I decided that she would stay. She had been an unwanted dog before and I didn't want her to be bounced from home to home and wonder why no one loved her or wanted her. She has been so happy to be back home with me.

Yesterday she was bitten by a rattlesnake I rushed her to an emergency vet clinic where she is being given all the care she needs. Currently her bill is almost $3000.00 and she still has a long way to go. If she makes it through the bite there will be weeks and weeks of wound care needed until all the skin that dies grows back. 

Kelly lived a horrible life before coming to me, she was some backyard breeders breeding female and left in a small concrete kennel having litter after litter. She was coverd in callouses and had major hair loss to her whole back end, her poor tail looked like a rat tail and I did not expect the hair to ever grow back. It all did and she is so beautiful. She deserves to have several more years of happiness before she dies. Please help me save this lovely soul.
