Destination Imagination Global Finals

Hello! We are Party in DI House, a Destination Imagination team from Arlington, Texas.  Destination Imagination is an educational program where student teams are immersed in the creative process needed to solve open-ended challenges, and then present their solutions at regional and state tournaments. 
Our team recently competed against teams from across Texas and came in 1st place in the Instant Challenge and 2nd place overall in the technical challenge. We have received an invitation to compete against teams from across the U. S. and from around the world in the Global Finals, to be held May 21-24 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Unfortunately, the travel and registration costs greatly exceed what we can currently afford. The primary costs of the trip are transportation, consisting of a van, trailer, and gas ($1,400) and dorm housing and meals for our six team members and three adults ($5,400).
We are proud to represent out community and we would be very grateful for any donation or assistance you can provide. Even a very small contribution would be beneficial.
