We live in the times of Great Turning and I recognize the responsibility and great calling to be at the forefront of the new paradigm and creating new systems that allow us to thrive and live in harmony.
I wake up daily with a question: "What can I do with my life that will be of service to all Life?"
The Guidance came through two Months ago in Ceremony that I must receive and preserve the knowledge of these elders and teachers who devoted their lives to the regenerative practices for a better future.  Also, I was instructed to seek the support of my community in this, so here I am, way outside of my comfort zone.

So.... For my 31st Bday,  I am asking for your kind support to gather funds for educational programs that will allow me to be of deeper service to the community, future generations, and Mama Earth.  Depending on the amount we raise, I will choose at least 2-3 out of 5 programs. Thank you for your contribution!

1) Earth Activist Training with Starhawk // I have been dreaming about this one!

In this two-week Permaculture Design Course, I will explore an internationally-recognized Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) curriculum with a grounding in spirit and a focus on organizing and activism.

I will learn how it is possible to design human systems that mimic natural systems, using a minimum of energy and resources and creating real abundance and social justice. Also, I will cover principles and practices for how to read the landscape, how to heal soil and cleanse water, design integrated systems, harvest water, drought-proof land, build soil, sequester carbon, make compost, compost tea, and biochar, and how to bio-remediate toxins. Explore the solutions to climate change, and the strategies and organizing tools that can put them in place.

Earth Activist Training is unique in weaving social permaculture aspects throughout our course: learn how to organize our human communities and groups, how to resolve conflicts, make decisions, work together effectively, and sustain our spirits. Together we create a community contained by daily ceremony and interactive ritual throughout the course.

2)The Work that Reconnects Workshops // With my hero Joanna Macy and her amazing team

Joanna Macy PhD, is a scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory, and deep ecology. A respected voice in the movements for peace, justice, and ecology, she interweaves her scholarship with five decades of activism. The author of more than twelve books, she is the root teacher of the Work That Reconnects, a ground-breaking theoretical framework and workshop methodology for personal and social change.

In the face of overwhelming social and ecological crises, this work helps people transform despair and apathy into constructive, collaborative action. It brings a new way of seeing the world as our larger living body. This perspective frees us from the assumptions and attitudes that now threaten the continuity of life on Earth.

The central purpose of the Work that Reconnects is to help people uncover and experience their innate connections with each other and with the systemic, self-healing powers of the web of life, so that they may be enlivened and motivated to play their part in creating a sustainable civilization.

3) Regenerative Herbalism program // with Penny Livingston Stark at Regenerative Design Institute

Throughout recorded history, nearly every culture on earth has used plants to thrive and heal. Recognizing and respecting the power of nature is a critical part of RDI’s story.  Integrating the Hermetic herbal tradition, Indigenous herbal wisdom and Permaculture together, this medicine program is taking this field to a new level. The interest of complementary herbal medicine is expanding and many people who are becoming more interested in maintaining healthy vital lives will continue and increase their use of herbs in the coming years. People who understand how to grow, sustain, harvest, produce, and prescribe these natural medicines are highly valued in communities and industry and as well as clinical practitioners.

4) Ecology of Leadership // with Penny Livingston Stark at Regenerative Design Institute

Since 2006, Ecology of Leadership (EOL) programs have served hundreds of non-profit leaders, community activists, eco-social entrepreneurs, and other conscious change-makers in deepening their paths of service by manifesting their gifts, visions, and passions in their lives, their organizations, their communities, and the world.

Through experiential, nature and community-based leadership development practices, the Ecology of Leadership program blends inquiry and skill development, self-awareness, and deepened nature connection with principles of systems thinking and permaculture. With the support of a powerful and dynamic circle, I  will explore leadership from the inside out, envisioning and stepping into the possibilities I hold for my life and my service path.

5) Mastering Life Energies with Maria Nemeth // This intensive will uplift me as a coach and educator

Mastering Life’s Energies is a 4-day intensive for purpose-driven people ready to master their internal stopping points, so they can empower others to do the same. This course is the foundational module of the Coach Certification Program, as well as flagship, stand-alone intensive for personal and professional development.
