We need help to save Quigg!!!!

Hello everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you, our favorite little guy Sir Desmond "Desi" Quigley "Quigg" Russell Clark has lost his health. Our 6 and a half year old little boy has had a long bumpy road over the last few years.
On May 15, 2012 he came down with pancreatitis. He was unable to stand up, was laying on the ground moaning, and not eating. After a number of trips to the vet (and a couple thousand dollars) he was soon back on his feet and on the road to recovery.
About a year ago he was diagnosed with diabetes. This means we must give him insulin shots two times a day which is another expense. After treatment started his health perked back up again and he was back to his sweet lovable silly self. He has since lost sight in his left eye, a complication of the diabetes.
Over the past few months we have noticed a significant difference in his weight. At first everyone thought that maybe is was due to his special diet for the diabetes or that maybe the pancreatitis was back. Last week at a regular vet check up, we were informed that he dropped down to 13 pounds from 18. 4 of which he lost in 4 weeks. This has led our vet to think that he may have cancer. We won't know what is going on until he has the MRI.
We are planning on putting together a benefit rock show here on the northshore to help with the bills for further treatment. However, we can not get his treatment started until his current charges are paid off. We owe over $1000 in general veterinary payment and until that is paid they will not treat him. He also needs an MRI that will cost between $600-$700.
He is so very loved and we are not ready to lose him!!! PLEASE HELP US HELP HIM!!!!!!!!! Ian even named his new band after him, "THE QUIGGS"! With the proper treatment we hope he can stay with us for many more years! Every dollar helps, we understand times are tough and we would not ever ask unless we had no choice. Anything you can do, is better than nothing!
