Future Olympian in the Making

Please Support Miss Cidney in her journey to the 2014 USATF National Junior Olympics in Houston,Texas.  Cidney is 10 years old and attends Hunter Elemenary school where she also excels in Track and has broken the record in the 200m and 400m. Cidney is a power sprinter who has competed in the 100m,200m,400m and 4x100 relay. This will be her 3rd appearance at the nationals which is a very hard thing to accomplish. Her dedication and hardwork is impressive.
2012- Placed 1st in NC in the 400m, 200m and 2nd in the 100m
         -Placed 1st in the Region in the 400m,100m and 2nd 
         -Placed 2nd in the Nationals in the 200m and 100m

2013- Placed in the top 10 in NC in the 200m and 100m
        - Placed 5th in NC in the 4x100m relay
        - Placed 12th in the Nationals in 4x100 relay (disqualfied)

This year Cidney trains 3-4 days a week and is expected to be a top performer in the Nationals in all of her events. She broke the record for the 100m at the 2014 Durham Striders meet on 5-24-14. She ran a 13.2 and the record was a 13.6.

Cidney attends Rush Metropolitan AME Zion Church, where she acolytes, ushers, and sings in the Bud's Choir.
