Akilah & Amos Family Legal Fund

At the risk of sounding cliché, "It takes a village to raise a child." The statement couldn't more true at the moment because Akilah's family is embarking on the next phase of their lives. Christopher, the boys and Akilah are expanding their horizons and  are making their home in Houston, Texas. The shift is an enormous one, but it gives Aiden and Alex the opportunity to attend some of the best schools in the country. It also gives them the space to plant new roots and gives their legacy, space to grow and expand.

In the midst of all these amazing and new opportunities, they have hit a few hurdles. One of the major obstacles is finding a way for Alex to split his time fairly between both his dad and Akilah/Chris. Alex is absolutely loved by both of them and they are looking to see what would benefit him the most in this situation. However, to figure that out, costs upwards of $10,000. Unfortunately, Chris and Akilah can't cover that cost themselves given all of their recent investments. This is why I am asking you, our friends, to support them. We want the best solution for Alex and we want the both sides to be heard fairly.

The request is to please donate what you can monetarily or donate services. I know many of you are entrepreneurs, so if you'd be willing to donate a service that other people can buy, it would be greatly appreciated. It would also bring attention to your company as well. Perhaps you're reading this and you have a friend who would donate, that helps as well. We will of course accept cash gifts as well. I appreciate the community involvement and I know as parents many of you can get how nerve wrecking it can be when your child's future hangs in the balance.
