We are a family owned and operated restaurant with the focus on family. Many of our staff have been with us for years and have truly become family to us. If you have had a visit to Babylon Cafe then you know how we strive to make each and every one of our guests feel like family as well. Now we are asking our Babylon Cafe family to help those who have served and taken care of you to stay afloat as we all navigate these unique and trying times.
As you all know and are experiencing economic ramifications of the COVID-19 pandemic have been devastating. As of 3/19/2020 all City of Atlanta restaurants were ordered to shut down all dine-in service which decimated salaries and wages for our servers. While we recognize how tough and imperative it was for that decision to be made, it had put those who we consider family in a tough financial spot.
The money that we are requesting will be split evenly among all staff and will serve to help them make ends meet until the dine-in ban is lifted and we can get back to business as usual.
