This page is set up to help the family of Donny and Sarah Pettit for Sarah's Medical treatment, travel expences, co-pay's, food, medicines, lodging, medical bills, and other expences due to her medical care.
Sarah Moores Pettit was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor on her brain stem in April 2014. She has undergone 2 brain surgery's in the past 2 weeks at Sacred Heart Hospital. One to remove the tumor, and another to put a permanent drain in her brain for spinal fluid. Sarah's tumor is a very rare slow growing tumor. Only 30 cases of this kind of tumor have ever been documented. Because of the drain, Sarah must also undergo an MRI once a month for the next year. Along with MRI's every 3 months after that , for the rest of her life. She is still in Sacred Heart recieving medical care, when her health improves, She will need to go to St. Lukes for extensive rehabilitation.
Although Donny and Sarah have medical insurance there are alot of out of pocket expences. Donny works in Alaska, but has not been able to return to work due to Sarah's condition. Traveling from Priest Lake into Spokane is costly. Everyday expences are adding up for this young couple.
Any help for this family is greatly appreciated.
