Belize Mission Project medical trip

To all my wonderful family and friends- It's that time again- Meredith is hoping to take another medical mission trip, and yes it is to Belize again! The Belize Mission Project, the organization with whom I have worked in Belize for the past two years, is returning there for their 22nd year of service!  The future of this very valuable project is in question as it's founder is retiring from his many years of work with the project and there is yet to be a team assembled to take over. I REALLY want to go for what is probably my last year with them and serve the people there by providing the medical treatment, encouragement, understanding, and prayer that they look forward to all year. I will be bringing along my trusty side kick, Jean Binette, of course. She is my friend and colleague, a pediatric nurse recently venturing off into the great expanse of hospital adult med/surg nursing, and a great partner in helping to serve there. We are both looking forward to joining again with our friends at the project to provide medical clinics in multiple remote villages throughout Belize; To working alongside our dentistry friends who will be serving those needs ( to hundreds of people with significant dental illness). To being the Hands and Feet of Christ in this little corner of the world.
The Trip costs include airfare, lodging, transportation in country ( including many bus and jeep travels, multiple small airplane hops, and taxis hither and yon, and the HUGE administrative costs of putting a trip of this magnitude together for over 50 people. Additionally, I am , as a medical provider, required to bring into the country any medications and supplies I might need while working there ( in the past this cost has been between 300-500$).
God has been faithful to provide through so many of you my past two visits there and I know that will be true again.
