First Annual Fund Raiser
The TTTS Support team was established in 2010 by a group of loss mothers who wished to support women who were going through a loss of one or both twins due to Twin To Twin Transfusion sydrome.
Since it has been established we have grown to a group of 27 active package senders located all over the world. We represent every possible TTTS outcome; double loss, single loss and double survivor.
Each package includes a pair of warm, fuzzy slipper socks, a grief pamphlet, inspirational quotes or Bible verses upon request. In addition, every package sender puts their own personal touch to the package. They select items that they feel will be enjoyed by the recipient. Each package is a labor of love from one TTTS mom to another.
We have recently teamed with Teeny Tears and Angel Outfitters so that every package includes either diapers or an outfit.
Our group's story has been featured in the book Sunshine After The Storm and we are starting to offer a hard copy of this book inside every package.
In addition to providing care packages free of charge regardless of location we also do two yearly mailings of Mothers Day and Winter Holiday cards.
We also try to fill special requests such as providing an outfit to bury a little angel or finding someone to give medical advice to a mother who has just been diagnosed.
Up until now all efforts have been funded by team members or given by donation but as we contnue to grow we feel that it is time to take the next step and make efforts to become a non profit group.
This year we are launching our first fund raiser for the month of May, in honor of mother's day and all of our children, whether they live on Earth or in spirit.
Any contribution that you can afford would be appreciated. Our plans for use of this money are as follows:
Printing of grief pamphlets
Funding of Mothers day and Holiday cards
Remaning money will go towards making the TTTS Support Team a non-profit.
