On April 22, 2014, Mika Jo Baird left this world.
Too Soon...Too Young.

Everyone who knew Mika loved her. She was best described as not having a mean bone in her body, easy going, laid back and happy. She had a way of making those around her happy, as well. She was patient, kind, loving and will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mika was a wife to James and mom to Little James, a five year old boy, who waited patiently each day at 6:00 for his mom to come home. Last night, she did not come home.
Mika was a preschool teacher who loved spending time with 1 and 2 year olds. Kids loved her. Parents loved her. She spent mornings having coffee with her dad and talked with her mom every day. She brought a ray of sunshine to so many lives.
Today.........she is missed, terribly.
We are never prepared for times like this and such was the case for Mika and her family. Mika was not covered by life insurance.
We are hoping to be able to provide the cost and expense of her funeral through the donations of those who knew her and her family. Whatever little amount you can afford is so greatly appreciated. We want to honor Mika with a formal funeral so deserving of her life.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to Heaven
And bring you home again.

Independently, most can not afford to pay for the cost. Together we can make this happen for Mika and her family. Any additional funds will be put into an account for Little James.
