Suicide Survivor's Counseling & Car Fund

On April 7, 2014, someone very dear to my sister, Kerry, took his life in her presence. In addition to the horrible trauma and grief she is experiencing, there are the day to day setbacks and concerns.
Kerry has been buoyed by the outpouring of concern and support from friends and family who have offered condolences, attended with her the service nearly 2000 miles away, even collections of funds to help pay for that flight, sharing of accommodations, meals, and kind break on rent for a time.
In addition to the work of healing are practical concerns: Kerry's vehicle was also a loss; Portland has great public transit, but who would want an extra hour+ commute on top of long overnight shifts? She has a great work-place (Dove Lewis) that afforded her some time off, but there was unpaid time from work, too. Some counseling will be covered, but she may also benefit from massage, acupuncture or an occasional meal out.
If you could please consider donating, any amount would be appreciated. In addition to supporting Kerry to offset personal expenses, we are offering to contribute separately to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
