Medical Mission Trip

Hello family and friends!!!

I am honored to announce that I have been given the opportunity to medically serve people in need throughout Guatemala this May 2018. As many of you know I previously obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Public Health and am now attending Concordia University of Irvine Nursing School. Community health has been my passion of mine for quite some time now! While this would be my first mission trip outside of the U.S, it will not be my first time serving in a community setting and I am confident my newly learned nursing skills and previous public health experience will be beneficial to the CALMS mission trip. Furthermore, I believe this would be a rewarding and life altering experience for me as well and am hopeful it will make me a better nurse! If you would like to donate items for the trip instead of a money donation my school is asking for the following materials:

-  Over the counter medications (Motrin, Tylenol, Pedialyte packets, cough syrup for children, ointment for rashes, Desitin, Tums, etc.)

-Hand sanitizer and soap

- Toothbrushes and toothpaste

- Reading glasses

- Small ziplock bags for medications

- Small containers for despensing creams
