Medical expenses

As many of you know, my dad has had many medical issues these past 5yrs or so.  It started with a throat cancer diagnosis, surgery, a lot of radiation, and some chemo...it was a very rough year but we were all thrilled when he got the 'all clear' when treatments were over!  And then about a year ago he suffered a pretty massive heart attack, had a stint put in, and has been taking many medications to keep his heart as healthy as possible...all while suffering lingering radiation side effects.  He now is dealing with a tumor on his auditory nerve that's causing complete hearing loss in that ear, and dizziness...and this tumor prompted dr's to do a whole body scan before starting treatment, and from that a large lung mass has been found.  He will go in for another full body scan of a different kind, followed by a biopsy and then more treatments will start depending on exactly what the mass is made of and if its anywhere else.  Just when he began to see the light at the end of the never ending pile of medical bills from the past 5yrs it seems to be starting all over.  As you can imagine, being unable to work, medical bills and medications of any kind take a huge toll on finances.  So, I thought if he could have one less thing to worry about, one less burden to carry through these next few months of fighting, maybe it would make a difference in his outlook, and mom's too.  Thank you to anyone in advance who can help, dad would never ever have done this or asked for a thing on his own, but I've been searching for some way to help in a seemingly helpless situation and hope this is it!
