This beautiful baby and her family need your help...Isabella Grace Bornfeld was born February 18, 2014 with Full Trisomy 18. Isabella was given a 1% chance of survival, but this little fighter Isabella has beaten all the odds!
Still, this is a tough road to travel. A night in the NICU is $4500, and Isabella has been there since her birth, 63 days ago. Mommy has spent every one of those days holding Isabella, praying for one more day together, and thus was not earning an income when the family needs it the most.
On top of that, insurance will cover only a portion of the expenses. If released from the hospital, Isabella will be transferred to a long-term care facility for an indefinite length of time. There are none in close proximity; this will add tremendously to the expenses that this beautiful and loving family has faced already. If she is ever strong enough to go home to live with her family, additional expenses will be on the horizon.
Many of you have asked how we can help. Together, we can pool our resources to ease some of the financial burden, allowing Brett and Sarah to focus on the well being of their two daughters ( big sister Reagan Joy is a healthy 2 and 1/2 year-old). Please consider donating whatever amount you are able in order to lighten part of this unexpected burden at this time in their lives.
