Help me change my daughter's life.

Life had begun to separate me and my daughter.  I wanted us to experience something dramatic that would shake up both of our realities-bring us closer to each other, have us rely more on God, as well as have our eyes opened to see His working in our lives.  After hearing about the life changing events my dad experienced on his mission trips, I prayed about it and decided Maranatha Mission Projects was the answer.  Its a collegite project, where my daughter will be surrounded by people her own age.

The bummer was, as soon as we committed to the trip, I got a new boss at work.  He brought his own team with him and I promptly lost my job.  My dilemma...do I put the trip expenses on my credit card and pray we get sponsors or do I pull out of the project since I don't have a job and a way to pay for it?  

Question=Have you ever been on the precipice of a life changing event?  
Answer=I know in my heart, this trip is the catalyst the Lord is going to use to change our lives.

After talking with my trusty mentor, my dad, his message to me was this...when the children of Isreal needed to cross the Jordan River, it just didn't part for them.  They needed to actually have their feet touch the water before it would part for them.  Maybe you need to have your feet touch the water.  Move forward with your trip and let the Lord part the Jordan for you and provide the financing you need for the trip.

So that's where I'm at now.  I've got my feet in the water.  I've put the airfare ($1600) and the participation fee ($1600) on my credit card.  We are asking for your prayers and monetary support.  We are grateful for donations of any size;  ideally though, we only need 32 people to donate $100 each.
