For a Grammy My Mom 4 our Household

For My Mother's Medical & Household Bills

Our utilities will be shut-off this week, it's cold and we need them on for Mom. We are in the need of groceries. I am sick and mom's is not feeling well either. If I can't get her in to see her Head Cancer Dr and have her recent CT-Scan read it's possible I'm going to have to take her back to the hospital. We really need some help. If you can and are willing. Love and respect

She is a mother, a grandma, a sister, an auntie, a friend and has inoperable cancer.

Hello from my family to yours! Let me introduce my mom, Linda, who was diagnosed with aggressive advanced inoperable stage 3b cervical cancer. At this stage it was deemed "inoperable" and the doctor came to us with an aggressive chemotherapy and radiation plan. "We have a plan" and that plan is lined out with an intense strategy of chemo and radiation. It was the hardest thing my mom and I have ever gone through. But we made it, thanks to allot of love and support from wonderful people.

Round two has been especially hard. I call it the hurry up and wait stage. German several scans done one is the holy grail of cancer tests (the repeat PET scan) the shots everyday for five-days at a time into mom's bone marrow (hence stopping chemo and radiation that week and every week this that be done because of her blood work) of needing to be but pack into the hospital or other complications caused by the cancer, needing blood transfusions is just another issue aside from the shots. The surgical procedure she will have every three months (never more than four months the rest of her life is another conditions side effect from the cancer) of course the depression, of feeling.

Round two is quickly approaching. We only made it this far by the grace of all of you. And we have next to 0% of making through round two without you.

Every dollar donated is basically continuing to give my mom life by helping to pay her insurance, prescriptions, gas to and from treatment 135 miles round trip, food, ensure and all the other things we needed and will need during the second round.

Because when we can't buy groceries or I'm stressed about a bill mom tends to feel bad as if it's her fault. It's not her fault she didn't raise her hand and say I'll take cancer at 64 and my youngest daughter and son in-law will take bankruptcy. This in not my mom's fault!

I'm doing the right thing, I just want to take care of my mom, and you all have helped us so very much. I can't express how grateful I am.

I'm asking for help so I can continue to do the right thing, I just want to fight for my mom's life. Please will you help us, so we can continue to fight?

Also, we have applied for any and all benefits my mom may be eligible for. Of course, this takes time and currently we are running out of time and have run out of resources to take care of our household bills as well as things my mom needs.

Our mortgage is behind, power bill, water bill, propane bill, car payment. The list goes on.

We have managed to continue to pay, mom's health insurance premiums and deductible and will continue to until Medicare and Medicaid are in place.

I have learned from many wonderful people that we teach, support, learn, give, we give back and we help one another, and in the end we are all one. I look forward to the day
When I can go back to work, when mom doesn't need me as a caregiver and we can once again be self sufficient as a family. Then we will be able to pay this forward.

Every donation will help with the gas expense, housing, health insurance premiums, prescription costs, auto insurance, good healthy food and other things she needs along the way as we try to stay strong and fight this cancer!

I also am in need of some emotional support, talk therapy (if you will) as this past few months have been very difficult for me mentally, emotionally and physically. I'm unable to see my therapist because of co-pays and gas money (fortunately the hospital my mom goes to for treatment staffs a psychologist who see's cancer patients free. This service has been very helpful for my mom).

I can't be just the cancer daughter; I need to be a "daughter" to my mom. If it's our last year, month, week, or day with her we must find some joy and peace of mind. I need to be Kalee's mom and a wife to my husband.

The bills will continue to roll in and that's why we graciously ask you and the universe for a helping hand.  All donations are greatly appreciated and will be used for her treatment, well being, giving me the ability to continue to care for my mom (as we have spent every cent we ever saved) and the ability to live with hope, faith and grace.

In the end every dollar donated is being used to give my mom life currently and a fighting chance of living past the age of 65.
