Medical & living expenses for the Lopp's

Donation protected
Below is an update from the Lopp family, sharing what they will be facing in the next year.  This site is being set up to assist them with the medical bills and living expenses they will be facing.  We want to give them the opportunity to focus on Braelyn and their boys, not having to worry about the provision we know God already has a plan for!

from the Lopps:

First we want to thank all of you for your thoughts and continued prayers. We have some good news and some not so good news. The first bit of good news is that Braelyn seems to be doing better since we left UT and came into the care of Vanderbilt. I am just going to give God all the glory there and ask that He continue to make her strong and whole. This is her story: She has a heart defect where one of her valves did not form. She also has a hole between her left and right ventricles in her heart. I'm keeping this all very simple but basically she will need 2-3 surgeries to "correct" all of this between birth and 2.5 years of age. Everything is dependent on when she comes. This is the next part of Braelyn's story. She is less than 3% her gestational size at this point in the pregnancy. To put that in terms we can all understand, I am at 29 weeks and her body is measuring all the organs and limbs of a baby at 23-24 weeks of age. This is not good for many reasons and could result in a lot of issues in the next 3-4 weeks. First, we don't know if she will make it to term. Second, if this will affect her heart surgeries. Third, if she will always be little. Fourth, if there is something wrong chromosomally. Fifth, if this will affect her brain maturation and learning, etc, etc, etc:. So much is up in the air. The main things the doctors are looking at are the blood flow to the brain and the blood flow from the umbilical cord (which both seem to be doing better than UT originally thought). The longer our baby girl stays in there, the fewer the complications and issues that we are going to have to deal with when she comes out. We are going to be seen at least weekly at Vanderbilt and then depending on when she comes we will be in and out of the hospital with our baby girl for the next 6-9 months after birth. All that being said, we need to move our family to Nashville for 9 months to a year to get thru all this. That is the not so good news.

This is going to be a major change in the midst of all that is already going on. Bradley needs to move his business and find a job, we need to find a house to rent, move as soon as possible, have help moving since Erica can't help much, and all in the right location to be close to Vanderbilt and within our budget. Also, something important to us in all this will be finding another church home. The most stressful part of all this is the lack of finances. We do not have the money at this point with all these Dr. bills to make a move like this. We know God provides and are trusting Him so we are asking in faith for any information, help or even support. If anyone has any contacts in Nashville for renting homes or massage therapy positions we would greatly appreciate it. Also, does anyone have any information in regards to medical bills or information where we can get any kind of financial help in any way with this kind of situation? We truly don't want to leave any of you but it should not be for too long and we plan on returning as soon as things are settled down for Braelyn. You can email us back at: [email redacted] with more information or give us a call with any information. We have never tried to qualify for any kind of financial aid or help so this is all so new to us and we are trying to learn as much as we can. Thank you again for all your prayers and support. We love you all!!
