Bryan Schultz Memorial Fund

Dear friends and family of Bryan Schultz,

As many already know, the world lost a one-of-a-kind man, while the heavens gained an angel on April 18,2014. Bryan was diagnosed with stage 4 chondrosarcoma in May of 2012, but he kept that information private, for he was prepared to fight for the life he loved so much. He bravely battled without ever showing us how much he hurt. In fact, he gave cancer everything it could handle and more. Bryan out-lived his doctor's prognosis and kept responding to chemotherapy. After feeling rundown by the normal wear and tear of his treatment, he felt he should consult with a doctor and checked himself into the emergency room. He was admitted for pneumonia which had already placed multipe organs into shock. Sadly, his body wasn't strong enough to tackle this additional foe.

Bryan was the first person I ever remember meeting. Even though life took us down different paths, we remained best friends our entire lives, but Bryan wasn't just my best friend, he was a best friend to many. It seemed he was in everyone's wedding party and he was the best man a number of times. If you needed help moving, if you needed the roof done on your house, if you were broke college kids hungry for pizza and beer, he delivered. That's the thing about Bryan, whether things were good or bad, he was always there for his friends and family.

Now, it is our turn to be there for Bryan. We all have the special opportunity to come together as a community for his wife Alexis, his daughter Skylre, age 8, and his twin boys Issac and Zander, ages 6, by donating to the Bryan Schultz Memorial Fund. While we can never replace the love and care he provided, we can provide continual support through financial contributions for his three children. Let's keep the enduring legacy of Bryan alive and well for years to come.

Thank you all very much for your heartfelt donations. Please spread the word. Like our beloved friend Bryan, we will work hard for his family as we feel his big smile upon us from heaven.

Love,
The Friends of Bryan Schultz.
