Within the week of May 5-12 I have also been invited to take part in an Assessment Camp that will lead to selection of athletes for Canada's new Track Sprint Program. This program will help Canadian Track Sprint athletes become leaders on the world stage.
Commonwealth Games Pool Trials and the week long Track Sprint Assessment Camp in LA, are essential and they are FULLY SELF FUNDED.
I need your help to finance the week-long trip to Los Angeles this May 5-12. There I will meet be assessed for Canada's Track Sprint Program and set qualifying times in the Flying 200 metre and Standing 500 metre sprint to qualify for Canada's Commonwealth Games Athlete Pool.
This is an exceptional opportunity! Canada has been without a female sprinter on the world stage for two years. The training is hard, but finding money to attend qualifying events is even harder.
Full time work helps me to self fund training and competition. Age is a limiting factor to qualify for most training and support programmes.
Your help so far has enabled me to become Provincial and Canadian National Track and Road Cycling Champion. I cannot let finances get in the way now.
I am truly grateful to you for your part in this journey. Let's take it to the next level. Together we can do this!
Any amount of support makes a difference.
