On Wednesday, April 16th, 10 year Emma Ward, daughter of Justin and Nikki Ward, was life flighted to Duke for emergency surgery for the removal of a mass on her brain. She is a sweet and ambitious little girl who wants her mom and dad to be able to remain by her side throughout hospitalization/recovery. Expenses accumulate quickly when you are away from home and work, so this could be a challenge. In order for this to happen, they will need emotional, spiritual, and financial support.
