Cross-Cultural Teaching in South Africa

Hello, my name is DeLon Wills and I really need your help!!!  I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University, currently completing my student teaching and receiving a certification to teach elementary school starting this fall.  This summer, I plan to spend six weeks teaching and learning about the culture of Cape Town, South Africa.  Not only will this experience give me the tools to become a more effective teacher, but it will also be an opportunity for me to gain a different perspective of the field of education.  Traveling to the continent of Africa has always been a dream of mine and educating children is my passion.  As this opportunity has presented itself, I would really hate to miss out!  I know that this experience will broaden my understanding of what it takes to be an outstanding teacher and it will allow me to reflect on my practice in a very unique setting.  With that said, I would really appreciate any support at this time.  Thanks so much! :-)
