Mission Trip to Nicaragua

I am raising money to fund my way on a mission trip through my church, Calvary United Methodist Church, Fargo, ND.
The cost covers my airfare, hostel accommodations, food donations to the village, service projects (including building a home) and some of my meals.
My group will spend 3 nights in Managua, Nicaragua and 5 nights in Leon. From there we will travel daily to Abangascar Sur completing mission work that includes house building support, painting, children’s activities, a community cookout, delivery of food bags to villagers, and worship/prayer with our group and the congregation. Time will be spent in worship, in service to the village and in fellowship with the mission team.
Past mission trips to this village have resulted in building homes for homeless villagers and a church for the community.
“If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?” 1 John 3:17.
