Changing young lives

A few of you may know that I took a career change last year, from Beauty Therapist to Support Worker, for young people with disabilities.

The organisation I work for is called Break.
At Break, we make life better for vulnerable young people. We believe every child and young person needs a home where they feel safe and loved, so they can grow in confidence and look to the future with hope.
That’s why we work tirelessly to help young people in care and moving on, children with disabilities, children at risk, and families who need support, finding a way through difficult times and opening the door to brighter tomorrows ♥️

Many of you may have seen our charity shops dotted over East Anglia, supported by our wonderful volunteers. Sadly, as many other shops, Break shops had to close their doors during this pandemic!

So I got my thinking cap on as to how I could raise a few pounds, so, my sewing machine came out, and voila - masks are super easy to make!! I have also created a mini mask, for the little people in our lives!!

So I have created a GoFundMe page, and all of the proceeds will go to Break! All of the donations will be done online - no cash donations I am afraid.
Social distancing will apply on collection of the masks!!

I also have to thank my wonderful mumma, from the bottom of my heart - thank you!!! She has kindly given me a key to her craft shop - Crafty Bee, in Watton, and she has donated, fabric, cottons, elastic, buttons etc for me to be able to make these masks with beautiful fabrics, so if the day comes that it is a necessity, at least we’ll be a little stylish!
