In the recent Kerala floods, one of our offshore colleagues had her life turned upside down as her home was destroyed completely and belongings washed away.
We are looking provide some relief by contributing financially to help her bounce back.
About me:
My name is Amit Pandit and I am an IT professional working for Wipro Limited. I am originally from India and currently working in USA on Visa.
The person for whom I am raising funds is working in my team as a Offshore developer. She is my colleague.
Part of her house and belongings were damaged in the flood. So members in our team and other teams working in our department decided to contribute and give her some amount to help her get on feet. We thought we can use this link to ask each one to contribute here rather than giving bank details to each individual. This campaign has not been flashed on social media or other sites. It was just circulated to people in our department and primarily used a a platform to enable all colleagues to contribute without requiring them to do a direct contribution to a bank account.
I will withdraw the amount to my account and then present her the check with a note saying " Small contribution form our team to help you get on your feet"
