Road to Nationals!

The Ithaca Men's Club Lacrosse team has enjoyed another successful season. After losing our first game to division rival Binghamton by two we have since went on a winning streak winning our next six games. Some notable wins were vs D1 teams (Cortland and Syracuse) and an undefeated RIT team. For our last game of the season we hosted our crosstown rival Cornell who we took to overtime only to tie 6-6 due to the stadium lights being turned off at 11pm. We currently sit at 6-1-1, which bought us a playoff bid (4/26 @ Rochester vs Niagara and then the winner of RIT/RPI).
With the success we've had this season we are going to need some financial help to get us to Nationals. Your support will help us cover team travel expenses for the playoff games and the National Tournament trip (hotels, gas, etc.) which will be held in Rutgers the weekend of May 2nd. Because we're organized as a "club" sport here at Ithaca, only a small percentage of our operating budget comes from the school.
No matter how well we play, we have to cover most of our costs on our own or through contributions from generous supporters like you. That's why your help is needed and will have such a big impact.
Everyone on the squad really appreciates your support.
