2 Rescue Horses - Transport/Vet Costs

Donation protected
Liberty Glen Equestrian Center LLC is accepting 2 rescue horses into our program from an extreme starvation case, and we are looking for a little help with their shipping costs and initial veterinary care (exam, vaccinations, Coggins, and dental floats).

These 2 beautiful leopard Appaloosas are from an extreme starvation case in Missouri, each had a body condition score of between 1 and 2 upon initial arrival at our friend's Missouri farm (they took in all 14 starved horses, on top of their own horses, and we are happy to help ease the burden a little bit by taking 3).

They have fed them and gotten them healthy enough to travel, and we will pick them up at the end of May, to join our program here in Luray, VA, where they will be loved, worked with, and trained.  Masquerade (the horse pictured in the photo) will be up for adoption to an approved home ONLY, once she is ready, and Feather will be staying here at Liberty Glen to join our herd, as she is now fully blind.

*We had a third horse on our list, Flashette, but she had to be euthanized on April 31, 2014. We are so sorry we could not help her :( *

We are not yet a non-profit, and all our expenses are currently out-of-pocket, and any help is greatly appreciated by us and the horses. Thank you so much for your help!
