Leah's fight against cancer

At the age of 47 Leah Baldwin Nichols was diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. The cancer has now spread to her liver and has been determined to be inoperable. She has now been told that she has three months to live. All of us who know Leah know that three months is not enough and that she will continue fighting for years to come. As we all know fighting this disease is tremendously expensive and can limit future treatments.
A fish fry benefit has been setup for Leah through the VFW post in West Tawakoni on May 3, 2014 at 12pm. The goal of this page is to provide an opportunity for those who are unable to attend the event to have an opportunity to show their support for Leah.
