Dad saves son life with a kidney!

Donation protected
Three years ago at the age of 33 I was diagnosed with stage 4 renal failure (kidney failure) October 2010. Many friends and family were tested to become donors. Some were weeded out right away because of different blood types. Some were given the ok to continue testing. But, off all the people testing one person was a PERFECT match on all 6 levels, my father Rick Hubble. In meantime Brock started his dialysis of four times a day of 2500ml fluid bags into his stomach April 2012. When draining Brock would drain 3000ml of fluid, pulling 500ml of fluid and toxins off his body.

Rick continued on with his testing and losing weight. First obstacle was a 24hr blood pressure cuff. He had to wear this cuff for 24hrs and it went off every 20 mins. Second, Rick met with a Nephrologist to decide if testing would continue. Unfortunately the Dr. declined Rick of anymore testing because of weight and borderline hypertension blood pressure. Rick was devastated by the news. He was informed he could be retested 3 months later, so he went hard at work again losing more weight.

Rick was given another chance to wear the 24hr blood pressure cuff in Febuary 2014. The Nephrologist appointments was set March 17. The Dr. met with Rick and decided his blood pressure was good and his weight of 196lbs (TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS OF 50Lbs ) was amazing. Final test was a CT scan of kidneys and stomach xrays. The Dr. saw the CT /xrays and gave the ok to be presented to the transplant board meeting on April 1st. At 2pm est, Rick received a call that the kidney transplant was give a green light. On April 18th, Rick Hubble became my biggest hero in my life, by saving my life and donating a kidney to Brock Hubble, Ricks' only son.

Since I am not working and on a fixed income, I am seeking help through GoFundMe.com to fly my father and I to play Pebble Beach Golf Course in California from Indiana. There is no way I could ever repay my father for saving my life, but playing Pebble Beach Golf Course is on both our bucket lists. It would be a dream of mine to play the sport we both love at one of the most famous and beautiful golf courses in the world.

PLEASE DONATE AND HELP A SON GIVE A LITTLE SURPRISE TO HIS FATHER WHO SAVED HIS SONS LIFE BY DONATING A KIDNEY.

Thank you and God Bless,
Brock
