Final Recording Session

Thanks to everyone who has helped make the last session possible. With COVID complications, and many options currently unavailable, I've had to make plans for a flight out to Seattle to finally finish this project after a whole year.

I had no idea if I'd be able to pull this piece off, and it required consistent improvement and dedication for 13 months now, and this is the last stretch. After seeing the first 2 movements come together, and feeling confident that this 3rd will work out, I believe the piece has some legs, and that it can have a time to exist in the real world, outside of the demo.

The unexpected flight plus having to find a place to stay for a night makes a huge difference when the budget is so small to begin with.

Ideally, this will cover those new expenses, and anyone who helps will receive a copy in the mail. To mitigate production and mailing costs, I'm asking for $25 donation minimums.

Not only will I be recording the concerto, I have a Nocturne, Prelude, and 2 Mazurkas, all by Chopin, to add to that as well. In total, there will be about 50 minutes of music.

This project doesn't just end with a new album. Over the next year or two, as the world settles down and musicians can finally start to get back together, I intend to present my Concerto's demo to both pianists and conductors around, and keep my fingers crossed that it can finally be presented in real life.

Here are 3 tracks that I've already recorded:

Chopin Nocturne in Eflat

Concerto 1st Mvmt

Concerto 2nd Mvmt
