Jack's parents Damien & Sonia shared this devastating news with family & friends on 16th May 2019.
The results are in and unfortunately it's the worst news we could of received. Our bright and bubbly boy not only has stage 4 Cancer but his is the most aggressive tumor there is. We are remaining positive and will fight this with all we've got.
Jack needs another operation to have a shunt put in (an internal drain from his brain to his stomach) this will happen over the next week some time. Once he has recovered from that we will be allowed home.
In 3/4 weeks time Jack will do 6/7 weeks of radiation therapy along with oral chemotherapy as a daily outpatient. After that the chemotherapy will continue.
We are taking each procedure and test at a time. Concentrating on keeping Jack calm and happy. And of course we will keep you updated with every step we take.
Thank you to everyone for all your thoughts, prayers, well wishes, messages, postcards, cards and gifts. We appreciate every single one and Jack is loving it.
