Hello everyone!
Jaxon on was born January 1st 2014. He was immediately diagnosed with PPHN and rushed to Riley Children's hospital. He was put on a life saving machine called ECMO. This machine did save his life but has also caused complications we are dealing with now. Jax was discharged from the nicu on March 31st. We spent 10 great days at home and then he was readmitted for a Chylothorax. We are still currently at Riley with one complication after another. Being here is exhausting. Via has recently quit her job to be a stay at home/hospital mom. This decision was not easily made due to finances. But there is no place else she could be than by his side. Feel free to donate to the smith family to ease the financial burden of one parent at the hospital and one working. Thank you all so much. We couldn't do it without your support!!!
