Helping Female Entrepreneurs in Africa

Donation protected
My name is Shanika Robinson and I am currently a junior studying business management at UGA's Terry College of Business. Entrepreneurship is my passion and changing the world is my vision. This summer I have the opportunity to utilize my passion and vision to help women in Kenya build and sustain their own businesses to help feed and provide shelter for their families. Through microfinancing, which is a way to give low income individuals an opportunity to become self-sufficient by providing loans to those in need, I can help female entrepreneurs create and maintain successful and long-lasting businesses. Entrepreneurship is the answer to our world's poverty problems because instead of tossing money to those in need, you teach them how to use funds to live a self-sufficient life-style that can last them for a lifetime. We can have a hand in creating hope for these women in Africa. I ask for your financial support for this trip abroad to help pay for the cost of the program and the traveling fee. This trip will enable me to expand financial support to women and give them business advice to allow their visions to become a reality. Thank you!
