Hope for Ethan

Meet Ethan! This little stud, Ethan Michael Scheffert was born 10/14/13. This adorable little fella decided to enter the world super early as he wasn't actually due until 12/26/13. After spending 4 months and 4 days in the NICU, Ethan has finally been able to come home to be with mom and dad.

It has been a very bumpy road for this beautiful new family however, as Ethan has a lot of challenges that are often encompassed with caring for an extreme preemie. As well, Ethan has been diagnozed with Premature Chronic Lung Disease, Noonan Syndrome, and Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy. Ethan often has to have the help of oxygen tubes, he has a weak heart, because of his bronchial issues, he is on a feeding tube. Because of this, Ethan is unable to attend daycare or be around anyone that could get him ill; and has been in and out of the hospital with almost daily appointments. Therefore, mommy and daddy have had to miss a lot of work to care for him properly in the safety of his own home.

As you can imagine, after the NICU and with each new hurdle that has arisen, the medical bills and costs of lost wages have mounted. Ashley and Jeremy are a very loving, young couple that have always been known to help out others. Now they need our help. Would you donate?
