Bud Crochets Recovery Journey

On April 7, 2014 my brother Bud (Richard Crochet, III) was in a
4 wheeler accident in Des Allemands where he hit a cement bridge pillar head on. He has been in trauma ICU at University Hospital since the night of the accident. He was airlifted there and we were told there were some injuries involving his brain, facial and neck fractures as well as some unknown injuries with his right arm at this point.
The Doctors have stabilized his brain injury (Praise God) and he recently underwent surgery to have a tracheotomy done and a facial surgery to repair and stabilize the fractures in his face. The bones that sit under his eyes and sinuses are fractued as well as his jaw which was wired shut for healing and will be for about 2 weeks maybe more. He is making progress daily !!!
We celebrated his 30th Birthday on 4/15/2014 in the hospital and we are trusting God with his healing and recovery. On Monday, 4/21/14 it will be 2 weeks that he is in ICU and recently was taken off of the ventilator and is breathing completely on his own (Amen).
We are asking for your support to assist with medical bills that insurance doesn't cover. He has a long road to recovery and will also need some physical therapy and rehabilitaion services once moved out of ICU.
We pray that God would place it on your heart to support Bud during his time of recovery and healing.
