Hurricane Relief Fund
Donation protected
On November 5th, my homecountry, Honduras, was hit by hurricane ETA. Thousands of people were terribly affected by this disaster. Their houses were flooded up to the rooftop and some of them even washed away. It hurts me, as a Honduran citizen, to see all these people crying out for help as they sleep on the streets. To put it into perspective, 22 years ago, Honduras was hit by a hurricane with the same category as hurricane ETA (category 5), and to this day the country has not recovered from the infrastructural damage and economic impact that left.
The money that you donate will be sent directly to a church in La Esperanza, Honduras, and will provide basic needs for the families affected by the hurricane. We need your help, our airport flooded, our bridges collapsed, people's homes were destroyed, crops were washed away, and the poor country of Honduras was left even poorer.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to help in any way!
Thank you,
Bela Lopez
