Sandy's Medical Fund

It has been a two years since my sister (Sandy) age 51, was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease (HD). http://hdsa.org/what-is-hd/
Its a devastating, hereditary brain disorder for which there is, at present, no effective treatment or cure.  Since then she has been plagued with,TOTALLY OUTRAGEOUS medical and prescription bills.  last year her medical and prescription bill totaled more than it would cost to buy a small house. The meds they can afford do not last . She runs out in middle of the month and then has to suffer untill the next month untill they can  get more.  Some months choosing between paying medical bills or mortgage. She can no longer WORK,DRIVE, CLEAN, or really do most of the things we take for granted. This burden falls totally on her husband that works 12 hours a day 6 days a week.   And then there is Sunday when he does all the household chores and yard work. That gives no time to be home with her to help.  Her youngest son is headed off to college in a few weeks, and will be unable to help her. He has been her rock.  Helping with everything she needs. From taking her to doctor appointmments, making sure she does not fall, to just being with her for company.  Her oldest daughter lives in Arizona and is unable to come help very often.  Her second daughter lives on the west side of the state and comes to help as often as she can. 

There is no cure for this disease, we need your help!!!
