Levi"s Wheelchair

In 1999 Levi was placed in the hospital for what is known as Shaken Baby Syndrome. SBS is a form of child abuse where a child is shaken so severely it causes his brain to come in contact with the skull and causing brain damage. Today Levi suffers from cerebral palsy and epilepsy. The bible says the body is just a home for the soul and for those who have met Levi know he has a beautiful soul.

 He was born a healthy baby boy but five months later, in February of 1999, our lives changed. Levi is a victim of Shaken baby syndrome by his father. He is still a miracle child because the doctors didn't think he would live. Levi survived but has many special needs. Levi is now confined to a wheel chair, his wheelchair, we do not receive any government assistance because we do not qualify finically, bills, and medical needs add up with the copays, our private insurance through my employer pays a certain percentage of his Wheelchair but leaves us with a 2100.00 balance before they can order Levis new chair.
