Jason Heffner, a long-time Bend,Oregon native is a reliable volunteer, hard worker, and a dependable husband, father and friend. Over the past several years he's been instrumental in creating exceptional Little League baseball fields, complete with covered dugouts, to further every player's dream to play on a "real field". His dreams and determination made it possible for Bend North Little League to not only provide top-notch fields for our local kids, but for kids from all over the state of Oregon through district and state tournaments. Bend is now a premier location to host baseball. All this is due to Jason's "get it done" attitude. He wouldn't take no for an answer. Jason is now facing an even tougher opponent, pancreatic cancer. He's fought an incredible fight over the last few months and is WINNING! The cost of this fight financially, physically and emotionally are exorbitant! All of us who have benefited from Jason's hard work in the past would now like to come along side him and help him fight this battle. One way to help is financially. Medical costs associated with Jason's battle are astronomical, even with the help of insurance. Jason would never ask for anyone's help, but now we won't take no for an answer!
