Diabetic

I am one of the furloughed Federal Government employees. This means that I do not receive a paycheck. Therefore, I cannot buy insulin to refill my insulin pump (pictured), which must be done every 48-72 hours.  This is one of my main reasons for this Go Fund Me page. Insulin and Pump Supplies are not reusable.   The utilities aren’t getting paid and neither are any other expenses. My family and I (I’m the mother of three young children, including twins); plus, my aging Dad.  It’s challenging to say the least.  The day the government reopens, we, Federal Employees, will not get paid. That will take time. I am seeking part-time work and selling items from around our home to help. I’ve contacted my doctor and the medicine manufacturer. Neither can give me enough medical supplies and medicine to cover me until the Government reopens. I need to stay healthy and take care of my family.   Any funds raised will be used to keep us afloat in addition to my own efforts.  Thank you for contributing.
