help fund the birth of our miracle baby

aloha friends and family. my partner adam and i have create this account to raise funds for the non hospital birth of our first baby girl who is due july 18th of which my insurance is fighting tooth and nail to not pay for at all! a little back story when i, noa was 18 years old i was diagnosed with 4th stage non hodgkins lymphoma. a cancer of the lymphatic system that had formed a tumor larger that a foot ball surrounding all of my internal organs. i was not given the most hopefull out look but after undergoing a few chemotherapy treatments it was found that i could receive a non chemotherapy drug with my chemo regiment changing the entire outlook of my disease. why this baby is a miracle... during my treatment i was given a drug to force my body into "menopause" in attempt to save my eggs from the harsh chemical therapy i was to undergo for the next few years. this was not by any means a full proof plan that would ensure my ability to bear children. i was offered the option to freeze my eggs. i was so freaked out about this at the age of 18 i decided no i would have my own children despite the advice i was given to freeze them. i was young and overwhelmed and not thinking about having children as a priority at that time. now at 29 years old against all odds i conceived! i've spent most of my life in and out of hospitals for treatment of ailments which is why i want to deliver my baby outside of a hospital at a local birthing center with a midwife. hawaii state insurance to begin with will only cover ten minuets of a birth outside of a hospital. due to being so sick in the past i was given insurance for the disabled and blind which is now fighting us tooth and nail to pay for 0% of our birth!!!! leaving us with possibly over $6000 in fines. our goal is to raise $2000 on top of what we have already paid... towards the safe and peaceful birth of our baby girl. donations can be made thru this website or thru contacting me directly. the highest donation will receive an original one of a kind piece of art from me both adam and i are greatful for every bit of help!!! we will both continue to work hard to pay for this as well as to be incredible new parents mahalo! we love you all
