Bubba's Healthcare Fund

This handsome pup's name is Bubba and these are his parents, Sam and Neika. Bubba became a part of their family two years ago.  Before Neika and Sam adopted bim, Bubba had a very difficult start to life that included abuse and neglect.  Despite that, Bubba became one of the kindest and most loving animals you could ever encounter. Bubba is truly a gentle giant! Recently, Bubba became very sick and required immediate medical care.

Bubba had stopped eating. His liver was failing. His potassium was through the roof. He was bleeding from the nose. He was dying. It was every per owner's worst nightmare.

Thankfully, his parents weren't going to just accept that! They rushed him over to MSU where he has received amazing care! He's been diagnosed with Addison's disease. Last night, he ate for the first time in 7 days. His liver enzymes are up, he's stopped bleeding from the nose, and he's able to stand on his own. He'll need treatment for the rest of his life, but he's on the road to road to recovery.

Anyone who has ever needed emergency medical care knows that getting better is the first step and then there's the bill. Veterinary care is no different. Bubba's care at MSU is going to run about $3,000 and it must be paid Friday. That's where all of us come in!

The goal for this fundraiser is $3,265. "Odd number," you might say. GoFundMe charges 5% and WePay charges 2.9% on the total donation.
