Friends and Strangers - My Family need some help

Hi my name is Emily youngest of six and I live in small town called Barnawartha Victoria in Australia; I have been invited to attend an athletics competition in Kelowna Canada. As I love my athletics and enjoy competing and train four nights a week; this is an awesome opportunity.  I leave on the 25th June 2014 for Vancouver and train and compete in four competitions and visit Whistler mountain and then travel to Los Angeles to visit Hollywood Boulevard, Universal Studios, Disney Land and the California and San Diego Zoo and then arrive back home on the 14th July.. Cost of the trip will be $6898.00 plus spending money

This comes at a cost to my parents; so they are busy trying to come up with the funds, having lots of fundraising events. I love my parents who wanted this for me and they would just love some help to take the pressure off as they are both on low incomes. We need to come up with $4,000 by the end of April to cover flights, the rest by June 1st...
