Partners 4 Africa with Jessica

For as long as I can remember, mission work has been a huge part of my heart. My grandfather was a missionary to Thailand for eight years, and mission work is something that I love. I was fortunate to go with my church family on a wonderful mission trip to Antigua, W.I. in 2006, have gone on several local and stateside mission trips, and in 2013, had the great opportunity to work with Dorian and Cherri Flynn and their organization Partners 4 Africa. My church family, Rose Hill Church of Christ, sent a group of 12 to Swaziland in June 2013. Through our partnership with Partners 4 Africa, we have sent hundreds of banana boxes to Africa filled with clothes, shoes, books, and soccer equipment. It has brought us joy to be able to send these items over there, and now we have an amazing opportunity to be able to go back to Africa and pass out the boxes to those in need. In 2015, Rosehill Church of Christ will be blessed with the chance to take a team to Zimbabwe, Africa! We as Christians are commanded in Mark 16:15 to "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." What a blessing it is to have this opportunity! I ask first and foremost for your prayers as we take this journey. We could not go on this trip without your prayers for travel and our work over there. While there, we will be assisting the people of Zimbabwe with the distribution of food, clothes and shoes. We will also be helping with Vacation Bible Schools and Gospel Meetings. We have the opportunity to see where they are digging the wells for the water that they so desperately need. Partners 4 Africa could not continue without the constant prayers by so many, and I ask you to pray for the work there and our team as we prepare to travel. Each member of the team will need to raise $4,500 by January in order to go. This cost includes airfare, food, housing, and transportation while we are there.
