Destination Imagination Global Finals

The Pint-Sized Picassos, with their hard work, creative minds and extraordinary teamwork have successfully earned a trip to the Destination Imagination Global Finals in Knoxville, TN on May 21-24.  In order to earn the right to go to Global Finals, the Pint-Sized Picassos won their Regional Competition and got 2nd place in the State competition.  The team, which is composed of Noah B, Ryan H, Abby L, Jason L,Tressa P, Katie S and Megan S have worked since October 2013 to solve a long term problem which included creating a strong, light weight structure and performing a team-created skit that is centered around overcoming a problem.

Destination Imagination is an organization that teaches the creative problem solving process through competitive challenges.  It is a non-profit, volunteer led, cause-driven organization that inspires and equips students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders.  To find out more about Destination Imagination, click here.
