Help for Larry & Gayla Purser

As many people already know, it has been a trying time for both Gayla and Larry this past year....and actually for several years for Larry. Larry suffers from cranial brain tumors and now is hospitalized yet again with a very serious colon and surrounding tissue problem. He has spent many days in ICU this year at both Vanderbilt in Nashville for brain surgery and Erlanger in Chattanooga with other issues. Gayla also suffered an injury earlier this year which left her unable to work for a period of time. Larry has been out of work for several months and will probably be unable to return to work. Sometime soon, they hope to be able to get some help from social security or disability, but for the time being Gayla is carrying the weight of their family finances alone. I have asked her permission to open this account for anyone wishing to help them. While the medical bills are substantial, the economic straights of their home finances are the primary need. Any money raised will go directly to helping with their household finances, utility bills, travel expenses and immediate needs. Any and all help is greatly appreciated as well as continued prayers for recovery for Larry.
