Kent, kicking cancer in the a$$

Over the past decade I have come to think of Kent as a "Bonus Best Friend". Kent's wife Genoveve and I have been friends since the age of 9, and they have been married for almost 10 years. They have been blessed with 3 beautiful, bright, loving little girls.

Genny had always been a daddy's girl, and at a young age she lost her father. Through our childhood and as we reconnected as teens I always worried about her and the impact the devastation had on her life. When she met and married Kent I knew I would never have to worry again because she was loved and taken care of.

Then, just before Christmas 2012 Kent was diagnosed with Renal medullary carcinoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. The prognosis is 1-7 months with only one known survivor. He is never one to quit, and the family have dug deep into their savings to pay for life prolonging treatment to date. He is determined to be the second survivor and is undergoing lifesaving trial chemo therapy to ensure that.

He does however have a bucket list (see below). I have said if he promises to not kick the bucket but kick cancer instead i'll do whatever I can to help him achieve his list and if the very worst happens have something aside to take care of his amazing girls

Please help us to put his mind at rest so he can get on with getting better and enjoying every moment he can with his family.

Dinsneyland Paris for the girls as America one too far we think

Buy the girls a bike each and teach them to ride

Oh yeah wants to make sure the funds are there to support the girls to go to university

Hot air balloon.

Have a honeymoon in maldives.

Get Paige and Chloe some special bits for her pencil case, get Olivia-Jade her very first parker pen.

Go clubbin with sibblings.

Take the girls to see Beyoncé

And if he has to go he, ultimately wants to die on the beach where he and Genoveve were married caloundra Queensland Australia ....
