Hi I'm Derek's Mom and my son needs help. He has been sick for almost 3 months in 3 different hospitals with no answers as to what was wrong. Fortunately by the grace of God he arrived for his 3rd hospital visit hoping for answers just in time to avoid sepsis. He had an intestinal blockage that was missed by 2 hospitals but had now

ruptured. He was rushed into

emergency surgery during which they

found ruptured intestines. The blockage was removed and sent to the lab for testing. 2 days later we got results that no one ever wants to hear with anyone. Cancer. Derek is working hard on recovery but will be off work for 12 weeks at minimum. They will be running more tests after he has healed some from the surgery to determine if it has spread or not. During this time food is still a necessity especially since he's been placed on a restrictive diet. He has his car payment , medications and hospital bills to deal with. He

needs a little help as he goes through

this time. Prayers are most important
