Christina's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
As many of you know, Christina Quintanilla has been in and out of the hospital for the past year due to pain(that was believed to be) related to scar tissue damage and radiation/chemo aftermath from her 2009 battle with cancer. After numerous tests, she was diagnosed on February 20, 2014 with colorectal cancer yet again. Not only had the cancer returned, but it was categorized as a stage 4. She received the news two weeks after her mother's passing. After two months of excruciating pain, inconsolable sorrow and an unimaginable amount of fear; she underwent surgery on April 24, 2014. It wasn't until her surgeons began the procedure that they realized how extensively the cancer had metastasized. Her 2-3 hour "standard procedure" surgery became a 7 hour "complicated" surgery that upon termination was still not considered a complete success. Her two small children gave her the strength and will to keep fighting after hearing the news of the complicated surgery. She is expected to have a 6-8 week recovery period after which she will begin another round of intense chemotherapy. Christina is a Licensed Vocational Nurse at Chuckawalla State Prison, currently on leave due to her medical plight.  At present, Christina has no source of income. This fund is being set up to help ease the hardship and financial burden that this disease has caused. Anyone wanting to donate to her and her children for assistance through their difficult road to recovery would be GREATLY appreciated. No donation is too small. Thank you so much!
