I am happy to announce that I have recently been accepted into my first study abroad program where I will be traveling to Germany and the Czech Republic at the end of May to learn about the European model of sport. Traveling to London, England with The Ohio State University Marching Band two years ago opened my eyes to a new sports culture. Ever since that trip, I have wanted to travel internationally again to learn more about the sports culture in different countries. This program will allow me to do so by expanding my knowledge through lectures from European sport executives, conducting student workshops, participating in organized class discussions as well as activities, and touring sport facilities throughout Berlin, Prague, Munich and Dresden. I am at the point now where I am applying for scholarships and trying to fundraise to offset the costs of tuition and program fees. I have recently received the Education and Human Ecology Ambassador Award from Ohio State to put towards my expenses for the trip. However, this award does not cover the entire program cost so I am still asking my family and friends for donations. If you would be willing to donate even the smallest amount towards this trip it would be greatly appreciated as every dollar counts! Thank you for taking the time to visit this page and please help by sharing this with your friends to help me reach my goal. Go Bucks!
